Carers support & pamper events

So what happens at these events?

9:15 – 10:00am

tea/coffee light breakfast and a chance for all of the carers to view information stands from different carers organisations,

brain injury organisations and citizens information.

10:00 – 10:15am
Introduction

10:15am – 12:30pm

Support workshops.

This part of the day gives carers a chance to speak about their experiences as a carer and share tips.

12:30pm – 1:30pm

Hot lunch, tea/coffee

Raffle

1:45pm – 5:00pm

Rotating sessions:

each carer is treated to a half hour treatment in the Hotel Spa, which includes one of the following –

Back, neck and shoulder massage, facial, Indian Head massage, hot towel shave (male carers)

After pampering each carer attends a half hour relaxation session

There is an ongoing support chat room for any carer who does not want to attend the above afternoon sessions

Each carer receives a gift bag at the end of the day

How do I register?

If you are interested in joining us for the day, please fill in the registration form below with €15 and return it to:

Can I pay by postal order/cheque or Direct debit?

Cheques and postal orders are accepted. We do not have an online direct debit system in place

Can I bring the person I am caring for along to the event?

This is a day of respite for the carer, for this reason we ask that only the carer attends and the person you care for does not attend.

If I have registered but I am unable to attend, how do I cancel?

It is important that you contact us as early as possible to let us know if you cannot attend as the hotel will charge us the costs of the day including lunch and pampering sessions. If you cannot attend, contact us through 01 235 5501 / info@briireland.ie

Do I need to bring anything with me?

You will have use of the leisure facilities in the afternoon, if you wish to use them, please bring swim wear with you.
